full-sized instrument. Lapaxe™ portable travel guitars are the perfect solution for guitarists of all levels looking for a premium compact instrument. Every model features a 2-way adjustable truss rod and carbon-graphite support. Additionally, our fretboards are cut using RFS (Radius Fret Slotting) technology, providing superior structural stability against warping. The result is an extremely durable neck and top-quality short-scale electric guitars.

The Deluxe Series (Our Flagship)
As our shortest models, the Deluxe Series is built to be carried onto commercial flights and can actually be played comfortably in an economy seat. While we recommend tuning the Deluxe Series a minor third up, many players successfully use them in standard tuning as well. You can check out our Media Room to watch videos demonstrating the Deluxe in both tuning styles.
-The Deluxe Classic Series: Featuring 2 Mini-Humbuckers, this has been our best-selling model ever since its launch in 2010.
-The Deluxe Solo Series: A streamlined setup featuring a single Humbucker at the neck position with dedicated Volume and Tone controls.
-The Deluxe Junior Series: Introduced in late 2025 as a budget-friendly step-in model, this version features a single, awesome-sounding P-90 at the neck position.
The EX-Series
Measuring just 62cm in length, the EX-MH series easily fits within standard airline carry-on dimensions. It is completely stable in standard tuning, making it the ultimate tool for road practice, live gigs, jam sessions, and studio work.
- EX-MH Standard: Equipped with 2 powerful Mini-Humbuckers.
-EX-Jazz: Features a single Humbucker at the neck for a big, fat, warm sound. These are highly exclusive and mostly available as custom versions featuring exotic tops or rare solid-body woods that are not often available.
- EX Semi-Acoustic Jazz RS Series: Developed in collaboration with jazz guitarist Rick Smith, this is a great little jazz guitar that delivers that deep, fat, authentic jazz sound. While it mostly comes with a single mini-humbucker at the neck, testing is currently underway for a model featuring 2 rail humbuckers.
- EX-LP (The "Lipaxe"): Built on the exact same frame as the EX-MH, but fitted with vintage single-coil Lipstick pickups for a distinct, retro twang.
The Free-Bird Series
Designed for players who love versatility, the Free-Bird models feature bolt-on necks and an extensive range of configurations. You can choose between 3 Double-Rail Humbuckers, 3 Vintage
Lipsticks, or P-90s. To give you complete tonal control, every single pickup is fitted with its own individual on/off mini-toggle switch.
The Telecaster Series
Built specifically for Tele lovers who want that iconic sound and aesthetic but want to travel light. This series offers three distinct configurations:
- A Vintage Tele pickup at the neck paired with a Double-Rail Humbucker in the bridge plate.
- A Vintage Tele pickup at the neck with a Vintage Lipstick in the bridge plate for players who
just want a pure, single-coil sound.
- A high-output version fitted with 2 Mini-Humbuckers.
