This Deluxe Solo our lightest weight Axe, feautures an Amara Ebony Fretboard, the Amara another relatively unknown Ebony from Sulawesi, looks and feels great. Amara Ebony which grows here in Indonesia is nothing different as Makassar, it comes from the same tree Diospyros Celebica, Celebica is derived from Celebes the previous name of the Island now called Sulawesi. However the color shades and the grain is different its lighter in color and has more contrast as Black Makassar, this due that it grows in a differnt part of Sulawesi where there are different minirals in the soil. its a very rare species and its name is not taken up in the CITES Appendices and is listed under Makassar.   The solid Mahogany body has a nice texture and is finished with a Glossy Apple Red finish. Loaded with a Single Mini Humbucker and just a Volume control.  This super portable Axe designed to play on a plane train or in a bus you can bring anywhere.
