The journey of this guitar begins with a single, hand-selected solid block of Amboyna Burl—a legendary wood prized for centuries by elite woodworkers for its mesmerizing, fiery grain patterns and deep golden-red hues.
Because we carve the Free-bird body from a solid block, the breathtaking, intricate swirl of the burl isn't just a thin veneer on top. Turn the guitar over, and you’ll find the exact same stunning, highly figured premium pattern flowing seamlessly across the back. No two instruments are identical; each one is a unique signature of nature.
