We are thrilled to officially welcome the new Lapaxe™ Semi-Acoustic RS Custom to our permanent, standard lineup! Originally developed as a limited release, this incredible model is moving into regular production so more players can experience its elite jazz portable guitar and blues capabilities on the road without the custom shop wait.
The foundation of the RS Custom is its innovative tone chamber. The body is carved from premium Mahogany, featuring a precision-scalloped internal back panel. This unique structural architecture acts like a mini acoustic soundboard, giving the guitar a noticeable acoustic punch, incredible projection, and rich depth that completely defies its travel size.
Visually and tonally magnificent, this version is crowned with a solid Rosewood top, a rock-solid quartersawn Mahogany neck, and a striking jet-black Macassar Ebony fretboard adorned with genuine abalone inlays. Outfitted with streamlined volume and tone controls, it is powered by a single vintage-voiced Alnico mini-humbucker at the neck—delivering a round, velvety, and deeply expressive voice.
