Lapaxe™ Guitars Free-Bird Custom 'Mimba"
Hi Players and Friends !!!
A new series of Free-Birds with 'Mimba Tops" have started to come online !
A total of 6 instruments all with book matched Mimba tops are in the works.
This is surely one of my personal favourite from our line for several reasons.
Its light its slim its beautiful and sounds like a house !
The pick-up an Alnico Double Rail Ivory Humbucker positioned at the neck is just a super versatile pick-up. With the tone control at 90% you get all the clarity for country & snappy blues licks, at 70% the bass starts kicking in for some deep Funk Rock at 30% a warm Jazzy sound, its surprisingly all in there !!!
On top of that this instrument has exceptional beauty from the combination of a Mimba top with a Honey Gold Mahogany body with a bright Canadian hard Maple neck loaded with an Ivory pick up a Maple pick up ring and chrome plated Bell Brass hardware.
Check out the sound in the video !
