Sustainable Exotic South East Asian woods used by Lapaxe™Guitars !!!

Hello Lapaxe™ players and friends

After living for 33 years in South East Asia, mostly Indonesia, with always having a special interest in wood we have build up a vast network of sustainable woods.

The Mahogany we use comes from plantations and other woods such as Amboyna Burl, Makassar Ebony, Sulawesi Ebony and Pale Moon Ebony come from licensed wood suppliers and are supported with certificates from the local forestry offices. We take it very seriously that we check on this carefully, in our team we have a qualified inspector who is a graduate from the academia of forestry in Bandung, Indonesia. His job is to ensure our purchases are done from sustainable sources.
